You reach the house via the courtyard with jacuzzi, or -to the left- past the office. There is a spacious utility room with washing machine.  A well-appointed, modern kitchen features a sleek, black granite counter top, ATAG stove and oven, dishwasher, SMEG refrigerator and a large wine refrigerator with drawers. All drawer fronts are made of solid red cedar and are soft close, with chic LED lighting throughout. 

The airy kitchen is open to the spacious living and overlooks the porch with rolling green landscape and Caribbean Sea beyond.  Enjoy a stunning sunrise over the sea while making your morning smoothie!

The adjacent dining area benefits from floor to ceiling sliding doors that can be completely closed when the trade winds are too chilly. There is an gas fireplace in the wall between the dining area and the living room. Although rarely necessary on Bonaire, it makes for a very pleasant atmosphere.

The same floor to ceiling hardwood doors extend the length of the living area opening to the covered porch, with ample space for outdoor dining, entertaining and relaxing.

The entire villa is tiled with a high-quality Italian ceramic tile of 80x80. Much attention has been paid to the lighting. All lamps (more than 85 in the entire building!) are equipped with warm light dimmable power LEDs. More than 20 solar-powered aluminum outdoor lamps add to the ambiance.

On the right side of the villa is the master bedroom, with hand-painted Italian Epoca bath and atmospheric LED ceiling lighting, a large walk-in closet and a beautiful shower area with double rain shower. 

A separate guest house has been built in the same style about 100 meters from the main house. Thi is equipped with a beautiful open kitchen, dining area and veranda. Inside is a spacious bedroom and an en-suite bathroom.

About 50 meters behind the guest house is the third building of the site: a second house, beautifully made of two large shipping containers. It has its own driveway, garden and great views. One side of this house consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a second bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a separate shower area. On the other side of the house are the master bedroom with en suite bathroom. The living room is located in the middle and connects nicely to the wide covered porch.

On the property near the main house there is a 4th building housing all technical facilities, as well as a carport for 2 cars.

32 solar panels generate more than enough electricity for the entire estate, which is stored in maintenance-free batteries. The gigantic inverter (24 Volt, 60 Amp Solar Charging, 220V - 50 HZ, 10,000 Watt) ensures that you can use your washing machine, jacuzzi, dishwasher and coffee maker at the same time. In the event that back up power is necessary (which hasn’t been to this point) the powerful generator can take over immediately.

Total water storage is (5 x 3000 litres). The water is brought in by truck. It houses its own pressure pump and purification systems (one in each house). Hot water is provided by solar water heaters (one for each house).

It might be good to know that this 'distant place' is not so remote after all... : from this beautiful location to the center of Kralendijk it is less than 12 minutes by car..! And that is without speeding!
