A broad inviting footpath invites you to enter the courtyard-feel garden. You are drawn to the focal point: a driftwood bench, right in the center line of the property.

From here the center line runs through a rectangular pond, through the living room and back porch, onto the pool (as a mirroring image of the pond) at the back. This ‘yin – yang balance’ can be felt throughout the property.

Guest quarters: 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, semi-outdoor kitchen
To the right side of the courtyard garden and the pond are the guest quarters, consisting of 2 similar fully equipped guest bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, built-in closet space and beautiful double hardwood naturally-ventilating doors.

The hobby room could easily be transformed into a third guest bedroom with bathroom (all wiring and piping are already installed), or as individual ‘maid’s quarters’.  

The semi open hallway running alongside the guest wing of the house, functions both as a passive ventilation system, as well as a privacy ‘guard’.

At the far end of this hallway, a semi outdoor kitchen could easily be installed, since all necessary wiring and piping is already in place.

Extra space
To the left side of the courtyard are all technical facilities, storage space, carport and work shop.

Living room: in- and outdoors!
From the courtyard it is only three steps up onto the porch and into the living room. The living room is fitted with built-in floor-to-ceiling book shelves with library stairs.

Both at pond- and at pool-side the living room can be completely opened by means of tall glass sliding doors. In- and outdoors mingle easily in this home!

Both at pond- and at pool-side are large porches and outdoor terraces: you can always find your perfect spot in the shade or in the sun (whichever you prefer). These porches are also great for entertaining guests. Whether you want to set up a bar, a large dining table or want to organize big parties, it is all easily possible. More so: your guests will be in awe by the magic of this place!

Master bedroom with en suite bathroom
The living room serves as the central part of the house. To the one end is the master bedroom with en suite bathroom (with lowered tub!) and large walk-through his & hers closet space.

The master bedroom also has folding doors to the pool-side porch and has additional (well ventilated) storage space.

Kitchen, dining area, pantry, laundry
At the other end of the living room you will find the dining area (also with built-in closet space) and the spacious kitchen, with all storage space and appliances that you could wish for (double door fridge, electrical oven, propane 5 burner stove, including wok burner microwave, dishwasher). Adjacent to the kitchen is a (well ventilated) pantry. At the carport side of the house is another main entrance to this side of the home, with a guest half bath and separate storage space. The functionality of this is obvious: drive into the carport with your grocery shopping and off load ‘three steps away’ from pantry and kitchen.

The fair sized and well ventilated laundry room is next to the carport. Again, all functions are brought together: washing, air drying, folding and ironing.

Next to the pool is a beautiful lounge area with a true unique feature: in the ceiling, made with small LED lights, the Bonairean starry skies of March and September are copied!

The lounge area further features an outdoor kitchen, pump room and full bathroom facilities.

Private park to enjoy!
The spacious back porch overlooks the pool and the botanical garden in the making and offers beautiful views of the “kunuku property” (the outback).
