- Private Property
- Built in: 1998
Making the most of its geographical advantages, this elevated property enjoys both mesmerizing panoramic views of the ocean as well as heightened privacy from its corner plot location; a beautiful and secluded spot to watch the world go by.
Entering the property, you step firstly into a vast living area. The most notable feature of this room is surely the huge vaulted ceiling. Almost cathedral-like in its effect on the eye, this large space brings a cool atmosphere with plenty of light from the cupola (skylight) at its peak. Large sliding doors cascade further light into the room and lead you out onto a spacious covered porch. From here the views are spectacular, you can look out over the seafront villas and on to the ocean and Klein Bonaire.
The living area is also connected to the kitchen, a large area that can cater for a high number of diners, with pantry and hardwearing granite worktops. A unique feature of this kitchen are the sliding windows, when pulled back they open up to a breakfast bar on the other side of the wall and also to an outside area ideal for dining ‘al fresco’.
On the main floor you will find the two bedrooms in the main part of the building. The master bedroom is, of course, well sized with its own porch, marble tiled ensuite, walk-in closet and built in vanity area. The second bedroom also benefits from a private bathroom and closet, great for guests.
The third bedroom is accessed via a separate set of stairs located outside. This room makes up part of the guest apartment which provides a fully self-sustaining environment for guests or older children. It also comprises a private bathroom as well as an uncovered terrace with great views of the Caribbean Sea.
The layout of this villa makes full use of the natural breezes on the island. There are also air conditioning units to ensure even on the hottest days you will remain cool and comfortable. Outside in vast grounds that surround this villa, you will notice a well-groomed mature garden and plenty of room to lounge with friends and family. There is certainly room to build a large infinity pool that would look stunning facing out to sea.
Further amenities include a garage and further car space next to it, an outdoor shower and scuba-rinse area and a solar boiler on the roof. The property is within close proximity to local tennis courts as well as Sabadeco Pier, both of which are within walking distance.
